Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy:

Any offerings booked with Wilderness Within require a 30% non-refundable deposit upfront. 

 

If something comes up & you want to reschedule your booking 60+ days prior to the start date of journey/day of workshop we could arrange a transfer to a future date for the full cost. 

If you want to cancel your booking 60+ days prior to the start date of journey/day of workshop you can request a refund minus 30% non-refundable deposit. 

 

30+ days before the start date of journey/day of workshop you can reschedule your booking to a future date minus 30% non-refundable deposit. 

If you want to cancel your booking 30+ days before the start date/day of our workshop you can request a refund minus the 30% non-refundable deposit. 

 

If cancellation or rescheduling is requested within 30 days of the start date of our journey/ day of our workshop we can open up our bookings again & try to get someone in to cover your spot. If someone books in & covers your spot you can receive a refund minus your 30% deposit. If your spot is not covered by another person, you will receive no refund. 

 

The transfer of a booking to another individual is possible at any time for no cost (e.g. you cannot make it to the event, but your friend takes your place & comes instead of you). 

 

We have created this policy to support our small business. Many hours of preparation are put into each of our offerings & many aspects of our offerings are booked/ordered/hired & paid for weeks & months in advance. Please keep this in mind & thank you for your understanding. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Requirements Prior to Canoe Journeys and Forest Immersions:

It is a requirement for everyone who comes on a canoe journey or forest immersion with Wilderness Within to hold current ambulance cover. If you live in Victoria you can sign up with ambulance victoria for $50 a year, if you live interstate please inquire and obtain your states cover.

We highly encourage individiuals to aquire their own personal travel insurance for our programs, especially our Takyana/Tarkine Forest Immersion to have the peace of mind if you have any issues with your flights in and out of Launceston.

 

At least 2 Weeks prior to attending any Canoe Journeys/Forest immersions with Wilderness Within you must send us your completed & signed waiver form.

You must also submit the medical & dietary form we send out with 100% honesty & send at least 2 weeks prior.

We can absolutely cater for your dietary requirements & support you with any medical conditions you may have, it is really important that we know about them prior to the journey/immersion so please fill out the medical form with complete honesty, If you have any known allergies, special dietary requirements or other unique medical conditions we may reach out with a phone call so we can discus & understand how we can best support you personally on our journey/immersion.

It is each individual's responsibility to bring all of the items on the packing list we send out, if you cannot gather all of the items required, please contact us & we can support you by offerings suggestions of where to acquire gear or we could possibly loan you some items.
